Chief Justice David Maraga has suspended operations at Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi for 2 weeks, with effect from July 30. This comes after a Judiciary staff tested positive for coronavirus.
CJ Maraga said all staff will proceed on self-quarantine and thereafter get tested before resumption of physical operations.
Disinfection of the premises will also take place before services can resume.

The closure of Milimani Law Courts comes barely hours after operations at the Rongo law Courts were also suspended for 2 weeks after staffers tested positive for coronavirus.
